^^^ Very cool!
Only recently got back into Kubricks after the prequel waves. Love the new DX series, but really can never afford to be a completist with these. Can't even really afford the full regular 6 from this wave, but managed to pick up the 4 regulars pretty cheap on the bay... And found a use for half an AT-ST  ;)

What is the snow...is it snow?  Great photo, this guy is clearly 50 miles from the nearest transport and ******.

Thanks- the 'snow' is just flour. Use it a lot in my Hoth shots- also icing sugar works really well, but had run out of that!  ;)

Very nice photo!

Seconded! That display looks great!  Do you leave scenes up like this or just set them up for photos and take them back down.  Looks awesome!
Climbed a mountain & never came back. I will not quit & I always fight back
From this moment for all my life. What could I say? Was born to be this way. And what could I say?  Just livin' for today

Cheers guys glad you like it  :)
Wish I had the room to keep the display set up- just set em up for shots then take em down. Loads more of this sorta shot up on my flickr page (Kubricks & Lego & Kenner figs etc- mostly Star Wars  ;) )
Now I've got my Snow Trooper quick shot of my 3 fav Imperials  ;D

Damn 400% versions of these 3 would be amazing!

Managed to track down an Amanaman for a great price- and now can complete my build-a-jabba  :D

Wow, awesome pic. Congrats on finding him.

I think Amanaman would be my first 400% kub if they ever made it.

Cheers, yeah a 400% would be insanly amazing- especially if they included his head hunter staff, the one thing the 100% is missing.
Casually picked up the cheap figs in this wave thinking I wouldn't be too fussed about tracking down the whole lot... I must have forgotten the addictiveness of the kubs  ;D
Found Amanaman in a french online store- bizzarely they had sold out of all the regular figs but had him left  :o

Thanks- its pretty low-tech actually! My shots are lit with a torch app on my iPod touch, and taken on a long exposure. Can really play round with the lighting as its so portable, and the long exposure makes the colours and detail really pop. Backdrop is just a plain white piece of A4 paper.
Started using the set-up when I was taking some Lego shots and liked how the results came out- loads more up on my flickr page  :)

I was finally able to get a indiana chase for a reasonable price, and it arrived today. I have got to say that he has got to be in my top ten of favorites.

Received the carded Silver Vader I ordered many moons ago. My dilemma: So far I've opened all my carded kubs, but for some reason it seems extra foolish to open Vader. Maybe because he doesn't fit into any particular "scene", whereas Spirit Yoda was begging to be opened and placed next to his fellow ghost pals.

Ehh, I'll probably open Vader anyway. Anyone else open theirs?
