Defender Wishlists 2007: The Phantom Menace

For the last couple of years we ran an informal poll with your 10 most wanted characters from the current Star Wars Films.  Continuing the tradition and trying to finish up before Comic Con 2007, I thought it would be a good time to revisit those lists. Here's how it works: You send your Wish List for 10 3 3/4" Figures to me or post them here, be it new figures, resculpts or even re-releases and I'll tally the votes.  After four weeks of list taking I'll publish the results and we will move on to the next movie.  The first Prequel Episode I:The Phantom Menace is now up.   If you need help coming up with names check out the Official Sites Databank:  Episode I.  Have fun and thanks for sending in your lists (remember to limit it to ten)!

Like Jeff said, Qui-Gon is rumored, but I think that is the figure I want above all others from TPM, so I'm going to leave it on the list until we get more confirmation.  Really, if we got all-new SA versions of Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, then its basically just Amidalas and Podracers.  I got to the point recently where I kind of stopped picking up figures from TPM for the most part (until we see those SA Jedis), but now I'm starting to think about picking up the few I skipped from the EnBoo wave now.  We'll see.  Aside from this list, I can't think of a whole lot of others that I would necessarily want.  Granted, some of the TPM figures look a little dated now, so we could always see resculpts, but there is a lot of other stuff I'd want before that happened.

I'm surprised more people don't want more resculpts though.  There's some ****** figures in the E1 line, namely every army builder really.  It's sad when the Naboo Dude from TSC last year made for the best army builder of the E1 film.  I mean, yikes...

Surprisingly, there are still several PM figures I want a Wald / Kittster two pack, Mawhonic w/ Salvage Droid,  Quadrinaros/Ratts Tyrell 2 pack, SA Generic Naboo Pilot... (w/  trench coat & removable helmet,  SA Naboo Security Captain with head variants, and Twi'lek Masseuse just to start.

Well, with some help, I was able to get the EE 10-pack for less than $80, so I no longer need R2-A6.  And surprisingly to me, I'm dropping all votes for Amidala outfits, though I would buy them in a second if and when they finally come out, so without further ado,

1.   SA Qui-Gon: rumored or not, he makes the list until they get him right... and work on that face/head sculpt!!
