Two words:
Gross, man.
I wonder what will become of him. I've heard that when he is pulled-that he won't come back/it will be a permanent removal. I also hear that 'the machine aint broke' mentality is in play. That the Bears are 18-9 in games Gross started so they won't pull him. If the Bears have a losing record in their next two games, then I expect him to be gone.
I felt the Steelers /49ers game was good until the 4th quarter. At least the niners got 80 more yards in offense than usual

. It appeared that the run was starting to work but then the turnover came and they had to abandon it. It's true that Gore has his best running stats in games the 49ers are able to keep close, where they can run the whole game-defenses start wearing down late. Overall I was proud that the niners scored so many points against the steelers- and that the passing game looked a little better. The corners played well as usual. It's really not a surprise about the Steelers' drives stalling in the red zone-it was noted that they had a problem in this area prior to this game - but they seem pretty adept at scoring
outside the 20- so, does it really matter?
I really, really wanted somone to sarcastically ask crying Donovan a Q like 'Do you think the reason you were able to throw so well with so many TD's today was because you are black?' I would have been pleased if they did. I can guarantee there will be some QB's getting some heat monday for their performances in games played last weekend and obviously, race isn't an issue
