Legacy Wave 2 - Clone Wars Micro-Series

Let the speculation begin!   

From Hasbro:

Wave 3 will feature one character that will be an upgrade over a previous character released in an early 2007 Battle Pack. The rest of the characters in the wave will be from the same source (movie or otherwise) as that character. That's more than enough hint to get started, and that's all we'll say for right now!

My first thought was Snow Bunny Padme but i am pretty sure the clone wars line isnt starting up that early. A rebel fleet trooper would be good and needed. What other battlepacks came out this year?

Well, the Tantive IV pack came out early, combine that with Wave 3 repeatedly rumored to be ANH - I think the Rebel Fleet Trooper is the slam dunk here.

The early battle packs were Ilum, Felucia, Tantive IV.  I guess you'd have to count Treachery on Saleucemi as well.

I think the Rebel Fleet Trooper is the only choice. Maybe Aayla, but I think that would be saved for the CW line.

The "Dagobah Training" and "Battle of Geonosis" sets shipped in Jan/Feb 2007, so those could be candidates as well...

I think it might be alluding to an ANH wave.  And given the hint, I'm thinking it might actually be a Lieutenant Pello Scambras.  He's probably the single most recognizable Rebel Fleet Trooper.




And there have been rumors along the way that we might see figures like Commander Praji, too.  I have been waiting for a black tuniced Stormtrooper officer for a LONG TIME.

My guess too is the the Rebel Fleet Trooper will get new arms & legs for 2008 Wave 3.

Other than the RFT, I was hoping it would finally be a correct scale Greivous, but then he wasn't in an early 07 battlepack.

I was thinking of laying a stone-work front to my gf's driveway in the spring/summer next year.  I could easily mix them into the cement base... 

My immediate first thought was to the Tantive IV pack and the Rebel Fleet Trooper...  Curto's mentioned it in a rumor recently, it's clearly long overdue for a resculpt ( ), and well even after all these years I still am always hopeful for the best.

Jeff, don't you rain on my parade with those other battlepacks!
