And you can tell the Joker is just pure evil.  That look he gives after he says "Evening, Commissioner" and smacks his lips.  Fantastic.  And when he licks his lips after Ledger's cowboy lover's sister kicks him in the nuts.  Excellent.  From what I've seen, Ledger has absolutely nailed this part.

Amazing.  I agree, July is just too far away :).  I really like the direction that Nolan/Bale/etc. has taken with the Batman franchise with Begins and now TDK.  Can't wait for this one.

I think it's just a re-imagining of the Batman story.  I love what they've done so far and TDK looks incredible.  I wouldn't mind seeing them do a Mr Freeze, Bane, or Penguin story.

Thanks for posting that, that was pretty good.  I remember in our area the old Batman series reruns were on "after school" (around 4:30 or so I think), and I watched it pretty religiously.  Campy for sure, but I enjoyed it as a kid.
