Oh, and I'm once again hating on Yahoo for not giving any kind of notice when a player isn't playing.   >:(

That **** drives me crazy too - I guess no one really knows until final rosters are published?  Yahoo never finds out until about a half hour before game time.  Picking whether to play Doumit or Soto has been a huge headache.

Well I'll take one of them off your hands if it's too painful for you.

Doumit could be available for a RP.

I wanted Mad Max Scherzer but had #8 waiver priority.

Once again proving that setting foot on my team as a pitcher is the ultimate black hole....

**** - forgot to start Webb today and he's gone 5 shutout innings so far with a WHIP of about 0.30.

I don't hand out a lot of free fantasy advice.

I've done it a few times in the past though.  Don't draft Shaq, the FT% will bury you.  Don't draft Ichiro, you can't afford to give up the HR and RBI from an OF slot.

I will add this tidbit:

Don't forget to start your Cy Young caliber stud pitchers.

This fantasy minute has been brought to you courtesy of Dressel Rebel Championship Enterprises.

I'm going to beg to differ on this tidbit of advice.  In most cases, my Cy Young caliber stud pitchers not starting probably would have me in the middle of our league rather than sucking dust.

At least I finally woke up and didn't start Verlander today.

Well, Webb's hardly the same thing as your guy.  Web is 6-0 and at the top of his game.  He'd have to give up 10 runs in each of his next 3 stars before I'd even consider sitting him.

If their game had just started later I'd have gotten to it... I had a busy morning at work and forgot to check until around 2:00...  :-\

Webb is 6-0 8-0 and at the top of his game.

Fixed.

MLB's greatest wasted talent, Rich Harden, is back today.

Any guesses on how many starts he can make before landing back on the DL with a vaginal strain?

I'll start.

Miraculously and completely by mistake I had John Broxton on the bench today.  ERA for one innings work: 168.0 :o

Surely with an ERA that high he didn't get through a whole inning.

Nope.  1/3.  It's so bad it's funny.  Fits in well on my team really.
