That's becaues of shipping though, generally... Usually where a coroporation is headquartered though, there is some "bonus" to the distribution system. If you look around it's not just Pittsburgh having trouble finding Wave 6 in any kind of quantity... It's a lot of places. The West Coast got them first, which is pretty routine... They haven't hit every area in any abundance though since, but rather it's been spotty where some areas get a lot and others are getting little... It seems like the places with the bigger distribution hubs seem to have gotten them in abundance (The midwest?).
The rest of the country where the hubs are more spread out seem to be shorted... I have a couple friends in the Florida area that haven't gotten them in any quantity, friends in Ohio, etc. It just happens like that sometimes. Us on the East Coast tend to know that all too well.
However that's also why it's frustrating to hear someone in Phoenix or something telling you you're just not looking hard enough, when they can find it and you can't.

That seems to be something people don't understand I've found over the years with the hobby. Distribution can stagnate like it currently has. I remember that happening with the original Target Y-Wing... "You just aren't looking hard enough", when in reality our stores literally got one case per store, and sold out immediately.
I figure Wave 6 will break through at some point, but I've found card transitions, which we're in the middle of, tend to be the back-up point for the line in the areas where distribution centers are maybe a bit more spread out to their limits. So far though, only two WM's around Pittsburgh have gotten them in as near as anyone can tell. No Target stores at all, and none at TRU. That's why it's ironic that, at times, KM around here can surprise you. Sometimes they're the only place to get a wave in... Unfortunately they're also about $10 a figure.
