Legacy Prices - Sales, Discounts, Price Hikes!

After watching Jedi again, I've been motivated to pick up more DST's, which is what I've been finding at TJ's. It seems all of the non-ranked tuniced officers have those silver boxes on their belts. I also picked up the only A-wing pilot I found as well because I noticed that the only guys who wore those types of helmets had gray outfits, so I'll customize it.

I would've liked to find DST's and A-Wing pilots, but I found neither...  I only hit two TJ Maxx stores.  I gotta hit the store locator to see if more are in a semi-decent drive of me.  I got Stormtroopers, Sandtroopers, a Yavin Guard...  Not much else.  Saw some Jerjerrods, and left Stormtoropers/Sandtroopers as well at both locations I visited, but only because I knew I had at least 50 of each at home just hanging out in storage bins...  Why buy 2 more of each?

DST's, DSG's (though I've not heard anyone finding those), and Yavin Guards would've gotten me to buy all of them that I saw.

I will skip the new Legacies etc, till I finish the TJ-Maxx hunt, why buy 2 for amlost $20 when you can have 5 for $21


I only found: 1x DST, 3x RHG, 1x RVT, 2x BS, and 4 Snd-T variants. & Storm-T with remov-helmets

I have some I have no opened in case i find others that I want & be exchanged at TJ Maxx.


really want to find some rebels from TAC line, Celchu, Zev, & other pilots, caucasic vanguard etc to complete the variants... maight have to travel further.


I left, some Vader variants, Naboo guard-red, C3po endor,R2-endor, Rhodian cantina, Han Bespin torture, dought i want it for its articulations, Jejerrod (most popular), Rebel Hoth leader McC???, & some can't remember.

Has anyone noticed if TJ Maxx is restocking? Or is this a once and done deal?

Not sure if this was reported or not but I found the Y-Wing Bomber at TRU and the SKU price is now $69.99. Maybe they got enough complaints and changed the price.

TRU has the at $24.99 but they have them on sale for $19.99. I forgot to mention that earlier.

Vehicles are mostly $25 now.  WM and TRU both...  Target I thought was $21 or something?  Or it varied depending on the area.

Anton, as far as TJ Maxx restocking, that's hit and miss...  They sometimes do, sometimes not.  They restocked a TON of the GI Joe 3-packs that were TRU exclusives, at least around me, however they never got more than one small shipment of Titanium figures in (they did get 3PO, Snowspeeder Luke, etc.).  They're an overstock liquidator, so it's really just luck if they put more out I figure.  Given the hodge-podge nature (IE: it didn't appear like sealed cases were what they got in), I'm guessing restock's unlikely.  They seemed to get figures that were pulled from stores, or were possibly even KB Toys liquidation or something similar.  I saw no evidence of cases being opened, just stuff pulled from stores.

One of the younger male cashiers at TJ was chatting it up with me about the SW figs and told me when they get new stock in. Over the course of the week, and three shipping days, no sign of new SW figs.

Galactic Hunter is reporting $39.99 AT-TE's at ROSS...  I have ROSS near me about as frequently as I have these other discount stores, so I'll hit them up and see what I find.  One's right over the hill, so I'll pop in tonight.

Wow...These discount stores are really getting hit with a bunch of cheap SW stuff this year.  Not that I have a Ross near me or need another AT-TE, $39.99 is a killer price for that beast.

Is ROSS part of the same company as Marshall's, TJ Maxx, etc.  (I think AJ Wright and a couple others are under that same umbrella).

I don't know if they're under the same corporate umbrella or not, but I'm guessing no, as one strip mall near me has ROSS, TJ Maxx, and Marshall's all in the same strip...  I'd think the competing with themselves wouldn't be beneficial really.

They're all 3 fairly common out here...  I have 2 ROSS stores close by.

The nearest one had nothing at it by the way, so this may be a really sporadic thing.  Tough to say, but stopping in isn't a huge issue so I'll keep checking.

In other news, and I"m wagering this is a fairly localized incident, my buddy in California reported he found Turbo Tanks for $50 at Wal-Mart.

Clearance without even getting the X-Mas shopping season started?  Very odd.
