My parents live in Scottsdale (where all the pro athletes and celebrities get busted), just outside of Phoenix, so I make it out there once or twice a year. Nice place, but definitely too hot for me in the summertime. Any Arizonan would tell you "it's just a dry heat" though, so don't fall for that! You'll definitely never have a problem finding figures again though, Daniel, as Arizona is probably in third place behind only SoCal and Minnesota for most Targets per square mile.

Organ Stop Pizza in Mesa. Tell 'em to play Star Wars. You'll feel like your 8 years old again (or maybe early teens, in your case). Love that place!
Also has a lot of nice casinos in the area.
