This is a replica of the largest filming miniature from the 1970s Gerry Anderson series- shown alongside it is one of the recent die-cast Eagles and one of the small Konami models.

Oh I'll just settle for the Mattel Eagle I have, shameless plug for toytraderz.com

1966 CORGI #267 ROCKET FIRING BATMOBILE 1st MIB ESTATE

That's a beauty.  I sold mine quite a while ago when I was purging my vintage hot wheels and stuff.  It was loose and the antenna was broken off.  My rockets were red and I only had three of them.  But the car was in nice shape and had Batman/Robin with it.  Loose of course, so no box and no trees for any of the stuff. 


If you look at that last picture that shows the accessories, the Batman sticker on the bottom left is meant for clothing.  I had it on the Batmobile, but took it off.  It's now stuck on the front of the monitor that I'm looking at right now, so I kept a wee, little piece of history anyway

Woo, that was a long stretch between THs.  Picked up the Challenger Funny Car TH today.  Also scored the larger Hot Wheels Batmobile last week.  That should be about it for the Batmobile stuff now.

Nice stuff Dale.  I admit to being tempted by the Space 1999 bug of late, but so far have resisted.  I really wish I could get that Konami Rescue Eagle at a reasonable price.  I could be happy with just the three small ships.

Been a loooooooong time since I found a treasure hunt.  Not that it really matters, since they all pretty much end up in a box in the basement anyway, never to be seen again.

Well if you want a diescast Eagle Brent, check out WHONA where I got the Freighter from & 1 left in stock. The Rescue & Transporter are $59.95 ea. & lots left. Stay away from the limited editions, those are nice but... 

Konami, sure wish they made more Gerry Anderson stuff.

I picked up a Dinky Joe 90 Sam's car in silver (already have the red version). The silver paint is better than the red one so a nice upgrade. 



I also picked up a TONKA 6-wheel ATV which I'll be converting to a Space 1999 moonbuggy down the road when I get time.   



Hopefully it will turn out like the one below that a member made on the 1999 forum.

Hey Brent, remember that post above? Well guess what arrived in the mail today... 

After a very long time since I posted the above, I have been on the hunt for a complete set of these baby's. These are diecast with the odd piece of plastic on them, these are absolutely the best diecasts I have seen in a very long time. 

I was lucky not only to get a complete set but I also got the poster cards & the display box as seen in the auction pic below. 



These diecasts are nicely packed in the single boxes, a clear plastic cover/dome protects the diecasts & the vehicles are securely fastened by a small screw on the bottom of the display base & a black cardboard that you can slide out with no problem holds them all together.



So here they are in no particular order.













The Moon Buggy has a plastic radar dish base that needs to be attached & the arms can be moved up & down.







The plastic blades on the Gyrocopter fold out.



This DB5 is Type A as the bullet shield is viewable.



This DB5 is Type B as the shield is retracted, 1 of the pieces to the battering-ram on the front bumper broke off as I took it out of the box & is easily repairable. 



This Acrostar is Type a, the landing gear is down.



This Acrostar is Type B, the landing gear is up & comes with a display stand for flight which can be screwed down onto the base. Both BD-5J's as they are known as have folding wings. 



This is Type A (see below).



This is Type B, the difference between the 2 Vanquish's is the front grill.

So yeah, very... very happy with this set. Now I just have to find a place to display the bastards!
