Recent Vintage Collection Purchases

There are two revisions of Wave 8, one with the black commando and the other without. The revision without the commando has figures like ARC Trooper, Logray, and Slave Leia on the Return of the Jedi card. I have only seen the revision without the commando at Target, and I wouldn't be surprised if most Targets are getting the same revision.

Well, that explains what I saw yesterday...I had no idea there were 2 separate assortments of Wave 8 shipping. Thanks for the info!

Yea! Found a case of wave 9 at K-mart. Picked up the three new ones.

Good going!  I have yet to see any of these.  I recently moved and I am still getting a sense of what stores are close enough to hit on a regular basis.  I don't have as many options as I did, however, I now live much close to a Wal-Mart, so that's a plus.

For my opener set I scored the "Revenge" Endor Rebel Trooper, "Return" Endor Han Solo, "Return" TIE Pilot, "Return" B-Wing Pilot and "Revenge" Stormtrooper.

Then Captain Piet found for me the "Return" Slave Leia I needed for the opener set, and I am now done with Vintage for 2011!

(Well, I do need to send away for my White Armor Fetts) but that's nothing I need to hunt for.

Years (feels like it) later I finally get Bom Vidom. Reshipped one, I guess. They had three, so I missed 3 cases of new figures except him and trench coat Han Solo, plus a Jango reshipped. I should be glad that no one has any good taste, and leaves cantina aliens behind.

Found another Fordo on the pegs at Target today.  Needed a second one to open to display him with the other helmet.

I hit two K-Marts and TRU and found nothing worth getting for their sales. Yay! My hobby isn't collecting, it's going to stores walking to the toy aisle and not buying anything. Good exercise...horrible waste of gasoline, though.

Picked up the black Endor rebel variant this morning at TRU for a fellow collector. This is literally the only one I've ever seen here.

Is he being shipped in decent numbers? I'd like to get a few of that guy. I'm really excited about putting together a decent Rebel spec ops force. Can't wait for Colonel Cracken.
