Yeah I saw that.  It was so confusing at first glance that it's easier for me to just pop heads off and try it myself.  Plus I'm able to modify things so easily that it doesn't really matter what fits exactly and what doesn't.

Used Hasbro's BOGO coupon to buy Dofine and get Savage Opress for free. El-Les was the last old figure there to be clearenaced at $3.94.

Same here - I'd spend more time trying to make heads or tails of that list than just going through my fodder and seeing what fits on its own, and taking a few minutes to modify things on my own.

Plus some figures heads don't swap perfectly...  Is it fair to say some of you couldn't make heads nor tails of it!?  Badump ching.  I'm here all week.  Try the veal.

Serioiusly though DR, I reviewed Ric Olie and Naboo pilot early for the site, so I have an extra of each now ultimately, but I'm not sure anymore on my army building habits.  As the line's gotten out of control price-wise, I take a hard look at any PT army builders.  These guys with the head swaps are a little more tempting than Clones though, I will say.  And they are pretty much perfect.  From the coats to the sculpts...  They really made the original Ric look pathetic.

Sad news. That means the original 1999 figure's value will plummet on the aftermarket.  :P

So people selling one now owe the buyer money?  Cool.  I'm gonna collect at the toy show in march.

Spread out your extra droids to your Rebel Pilots.  You'll dig how they all look together.

I felt very much the same way when I got mine.

Another option is to pair them with some extra Naboo Pilots.

Good selection as well with the new N1 coming.

Also look good with Imperials too since they had a few in their ranks that weren't black as well.  They fit in just about anywhere.

My biggest concern with buying them is that I said I wouldn't buy them because I hate paying top dollar for the BAD Astromechs... they look great yeah but I hate the extra holes and the hollow feel.

But I love me some "generic" astro droids

Got Jean Claude Danva/Battle Droid & Roth Mason/Super battle droid Geonosis arena sets for $5.08 each...Yeah, 3 years ago and a different collection!  :P I'm annoyed last time I was there they had Fisto/Genosians guess some army builder or ebay hustler scooped them all up when they hit $5.

Passed on a Saga Legends ROTS Anakin for $2. If he'd had the secret weapons I'd have gotten him.

Last vintage 3-pack was back up to $24.99.  :(

No shuttles left...*phew* dodged that bullet again (the bullet being the "too cheap to pass up but I know it take up more space that its worth").

No unusual Target mark downs of sith 2-packs or clone wars figures.

TRU sale hooked me up big time last week.  I was able to return my entire January purchase from Walmart to save the 30%.  A bit of a hassle, but it was worth it in my opinion.  Especially with a few free Fighter Pods and Maul USBs thrown in.
