TODO-360 Figure
« on: October 15, 2010, 02:18 AM »
As per the front page...

Suffice it to say, he's got a pretty good shot at a figure in the near future.  ;)

But as always, nothing's confirmed till Hasbro, blah blah blah...  but yeah.

Articulation appears as though it'll be limited.  Like I said on the front page, perhaps more of an accessory to a figure, than a figure. ;)

Yeah, I recall this from a Q&A a while back...glad to hear it may happen sooner rather than later.

I think this would have to be some kind of pack-in or Battle Pack figure. I can't recall if there's anyone else from that episode that hasn't been made yet though. The chick with the knife maybe?

What I like is that he's another item that looks realistic (oops, did I let that slip?) enough to fit into the basic line, so I'll be tempted to buy whatever he is likely going to be coming with, to get him.  Unless it's some big set of course.

And now for your viewing pleasure, courtesy of Black Sheep Toy Store, we have a sneak peek picture of TODO-360!

Clicky to check him out!

He's pretty diminutive, so again I stress that I cannot fathom that he'll be coming as a single figure. ;)

Yeah, looks like a pack in to me... one of the goofiest droid designs I've seen in a while, looks like it should be in in The Phantom Menace or something.  I admit that I don't know anything about the character though.

He's Cad Bane's droid companion who, in his only episode thus far, was made to appear that he died...  He's popped up in the trailer for Season 3 though, so either prequal stuff for his original episode, or he didn't actually die at all, or he has a replacement almost the same as his original.  ???

He's also the character Seth Green voices in the show.

I got a couple emails about articulation and he is articulated, but it seems highly limited, possibly just shoulders and neck.

Outstanding scoop, he does look realistic enough to "pass".

I got a report of a typical, "that's fake" comment because the claim was it didn't have articulation or something.

He has ball-jointed neck and I believe shoulders as well, but that was all I could make out.  He does have articulation though, it's just limited as I noted. :)  Kinda like Jabba's little kid accessory.

I'd be happy if he came as a pack-in with an individually carded deluxe Cad Bane figure with a soft goods coat.

I was thinking EXACTLY that, actually Pete.  I'd probably rebuy Bane for the coat alone.

Nice droid, remember the robots of the early sci-fi movies

Interesting how Hasbro releases tiny characters, maybe in battle packs

it would be convenient to release a mouse droid with antenna with some imperial commanders.

Your wish is Hasbro's command, except for the soft goods cloak. Bane and Todo pack-in have both been confirmed as TCW41, part of the new wave following Quinlan, Cato, etc. (Courtesy of Sandtroopers)

Bane looks like the same articulated version that came with the Deluxe set.

Also in the wave are Hondo (re-pack), Obi-Wan (possibly a re-pack, maybe one from one of the Deluxe sets), and R7-A7, which I believe is new.

I can finally take a sigh of relief for not buying the Bane deluxe set - no way I'm dishing out $20 for that. Can't wait for the upcoming basic figure release, SA and a new coat. And TODO!

Blacksheep has TODO on ebay for a buy it now of $2.99 plus $5 shipping. So spend $8 for a small accessory.  No thank you.
