Adam Pawlus' latest Q&A is teasing Star Wars (I think) goodness coming next year.

Pawlus' likes are so all over the place that it's hard to guess what's got him so excited.  He's a big 5POA guy too so it could be anything.

I have heard that we're not done spending money on pre-orders yet this year so there is definitely more stuff coming at NYCC or later in the year.

Lol. I threw a LOT at the wall in that post. Something had to stick!

I would take four "hallways" a year if they all turn out like the Tatooine Street and Light Cruiser Hall.

Ugggghhhhh

I remember when Adam was trying to sell people on the return of 5POA figures back in 2013/2014.  What complete and utter bravo sierra that was!  It marked a serious low point in the quality of figures.

As for what he's hinting at?  IDK.  And frankly, I think Jayson is a far better source of news, reporting and comprehensive information about Hasbro's Star Wars line.  If Adam is still with EE (and I think he is), I don't think he has the freedom to do what Jayson does.

Yeah, two totally different angles between those two.  Adam does still work for EE so he has to toe the Hasbro line, but he also gets to see official stuff.  Jayson has sweet information based on funky investigation and will generally scoop everyone else.

I'm hoping the tease is legit and we get something that will truly knock our socks off in the coming months.  Its been awhile since Hasbro has done that with Star Wars.

I stopped putting a lot of stock in what Adam has to share.  And maybe that's because I understand (to a degree) and appreciate Jayson's reporting process.  He's been on the money so much that when he shares something it's pretty solid.  And in fact it's so good that he doesn't need to play the game with Hasbro's PR people, even though it precludes him from participating in official Hasbro events.

I know this bit of info is listed on the Yakface TVC Master List:

Cobb Vanth (Marshal of Freetown)

...I'm just struggling to recall where it got confirmed.  I know there was some discussion about the deluxe armored version of Cobb Vanth.  And I think it was during some official Hasbro livestream or panel where they revealed that a mainline, unarmored version from TBOBF was on the way.  I just can't pin down WHEN that information was shared.

I don't recall a fan Q&A where it was officially confirmed either, just hinted at when they are talking about Cobb's removable armor.  Like this bit in a Q&A with Steve.

Jayson has updated his TVC figure rumor list on Yakface.  This is where things stand now with some names identified, and other slots are assigned to specific entertainment titles.  It's not clear if any of these rumor slots coincide with previous pipeline announcements:

Moff Gideon (Dark Trooper Phase 4)
Cobb Vanth (Marshal of Freetown)
Anakin Skywalker – ROTS
Merrin – Jedi Survivor
Imperial Armored Commando – The Mandalorian

The Mandalorian
The Mandalorian
Star Wars Rebels
Star Wars Rebels
Star Wars Rebels
Star Wars Rebels
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Andor
Andor
A New Hope
A New Hope
A New Hope
A New Hope
A New Hope
The Clone Wars
Ahsoka
Ahsoka
Ahsoka
Ahsoka
Skeleton Crew

Merrin is exciting, I definitely want more besides Cal Kestis & troopers from the EA Jedi games. The other named rumors all make sense. It is interesting to see so many other Rebels figures on that list. I guess the 10th anniversary was in October and they want to give us us more figures to go with the Ghost (for those of us who Hasbro has shipped it to yet)

I'm hoping the figure selection in '25 is a bit better than overall selection in '24.

Yeah, without knowing what is a repack, kitbash, or all new its hard to get excited.  I'm afraid 70% of this is going to be repack and lazy kitbash.

I'm hoping for a lot more new, and ideally stuff that can fit in to a theme.  One figure from Skeleton Crew isn't going to give us the crew of four kids.

I don’t need two Andor figures, I need three waves.

Agreed.

Sadly, I think all we'll get will be a slightly tweaked Cassian and Krennic which will be 95% similar to what we already own.

So over in the RS forums I took a stab at what the figures in those rumored slots might be.  And Jayson chimed in with:  "Some excellent speculation in there."

This is what I speculated:

Here's my speculative lineup for the Yakface rumor slots. Some of these are cynical selections based on Hasbro's releases of the past 2 - 3 years.

MAINLINE FIGURES
The Mandalorian - Imperial Praetorian Guard
The Mandalorian - The Client (MM Top 10 / 20)
Star Wars Rebels - Hera Syndulla (Season 1)
Star Wars Rebels - Ezra Bridger (Season 1)
Star Wars Rebels - Agent Kallus (ISB)
Star Wars Rebels - Captain Rex
Obi-Wan Kenobi - Tala Durith (Imperial officer)
Andor - Luthen Rael
Andor - Shore Trooper (Niamos)
A New Hope - Owen Lars
A New Hope - Beru Lars
A New Hope - Sandtrooper
A New Hope - Garindan
A New Hope - Boba Fett (Docking Bay 94 deleted scene)
The Clone Wars - Asajj Ventress
Ahsoka - Captain Carson Teva
Ahsoka - Marrok
Ahsoka - Morgan Elsbeth (Sword of Talzin)
Ahsoka - Ezra Bridger (Peridea)
Skeleton Crew - Captain Brutus

OTHER
Vehicle - BARC Speeder with Kelleran Beq & Grogu
Vehicle - Luke Skywalker Landspeeder
Beast - Bantha with Tusken Raider
Multipack - Mos Eisley Cantina - Lirin Car'n, Baniss Keeg, Ellors Madak & Danz Borin
Multipack - Streets of Mos Eisley - Takeel, CZ-3, Tawws Khaa

....again, ALL SPECULATION.

Whether or not it pans out?  Who knows!  But I share Rob's point about ANDOR - I don't want just two figures, either - I WANT WAVES of ANDOR figures!  I want a streets of Ferrix playset with the Timekeeper and his beskar anvil!  I want the Imperial speeder with the cannon, as well as the Imperial Riot Troopers.  Bix, Brasso, Marva, and then touch on Aldhani as well as Narkina 5 and some of the prisoners and the workstation.  Plus more backstabbing ISB officers!

If I were to re-write that list?  I might replace one of the vehicle entries after a Micro Galaxy Squadron speeder bike wth Cassian Andor got leaked in China.

I don’t need two Andor figures, I need three waves.

You better hope they've got a HasLab Fondor Haulcraft planned for Celebration in April to go along with Andor S2 then.  That's the only way we'll get them to support three waves for Andor.

The bulk of Jayson's list seems to be designed to either support the Ghost (4 Rebels/4 Ahsoka) or the Cantina (5 ANH).

Just feels like we're going to need a HasLab project to get significant traction on places where figures are lacking like Andor or The Bad Batch.

Skeleton Crew - Captain Brutus
....again, ALL SPECULATION.

I like your list but my guess would be SM-33 for Skeleton Crew...

I like your thinking about the Fondor Haulcraft!  If Hasbro can find a way to make it a $200 fan channel vehicle?  Then I would be very happy!  That plus a Cassian on speeder bike works for me.

I think SM-33 is a solid contender, too.  But I wonder if we're going to have a situation where Disney offers SM-33 first?  It's been just about a year since Disney offered the last entertainment derived Droid Factory 4-pack, and I see the potential for a Skeleton Crew set to be announced soon.  And is Hasbro coordinating with Disney on some of these releases?  They both released a Huyang.  I think a complicating factor for an SM-33 might be the peg leg.  Plus there are the extending limbs and armor plates.  So would SM-33 be a TVC deluxe figure?
