Seems as though figures are either too rare or overproduced.

IMHO, those Vintage stinkers sit around way longer than any alleged peg warmers from the Clone Wars line. All our local Walmarts have had those pre-TPM figures marked down to $4 or less for months now, and they're just not moving.

But good luck finding any Clone Wars figure in the SOTDS packaging at a Walmart or Target now. That stuff blew out quickly once it got cheap.

I agree with Adam that their secondary characters sell just fine, but since we are no longer getting any of these, it's sort of a moot point, really.

People don't get excited to own toys that have current media support? I can't agree with that, Hasbro just has to make smart decisions.

I've not seen a $4 vinty figure at WM in ages.  To be honest, I've not seen a pre-TPM vinty figure since K-Mart...  I guess TRU has some stuff, but WM/Target, they're logn gone.  Clearance moved CW stuff too here, no doubt.

But yeah, I think TVC is in a similar boat ultimately...  Some sell, some don't, and depending on who your target market(s) may be, that dictates who gets made ultimately.

I'm not saying OWK or Ani aren't hitting the skids either, but I do know most people will readily tell you Embo was a pegwarmer after his initial honeymoon phase went by...  The Arcona drill instructor, pegwarmer...  Lots and lots of Aurra Sing on clearance.  Lots of Yularren back in the day, and vividly remember buying him just for the table for like $2.  Lots of Whorm Loathsome on clearance.

I wish I had tons of $4 TVC up here.  We had Endor Han, the odd Keyan Farlander, and R5-D4.  :( I  wanted to get a Gree for his cardback, and a couple DSE Lukes for customs.  Never got the shot at that.  Then again I can't find $10 TVC figures unless they're TPM wave, haha.

link worked for me.  Ugh.  So there is definitely a red one - but to me it is too red.  So, for that matter I iwll be ok with the one I have.

So there are variants for Evazan and Kithaba already?  ::)  Guess I will have to take a closer look at mine when I get home tonight to figure out which versions I have...

Hadn't hear about the Evazan variant... Are there pics of that about? Edit: I found them on the other site... still want to see more. The pink scar just looks too vivid to me compared to the set shots.

Link works great now, Jay! Thanks! Red bandana for me Kithaba for me, too.

I'm pretty sure it's brown in the movie.  ;)

Variant of figures that will probably be tough finds? NOW HOW SOON WILL YOU QUIT?

Lighting can make brown look red.  That's why there are so many false alarms about problems with people's poop in this country.  I thought I had Chron's, but it turns out I just had cheap lighting in my bathroom.
