Marvel Famous Covers?
« on: August 4, 2003, 08:35 AM »
I collected the first 4 waves of these and they really brought back some memories of the old Mego line from the 70's.  Anyone know why the line was axed?  I would assume poor sales.  Its too bad since so many great figs were left out.  I always wanted The Thing, but I guess I will have to settle for the Marvel Legends version.

I'm going to to move this to our Other Toy Lines Forum ;)

These came out during my SW only period so I didn't really collect them, admired from afar I guess is a good term.

Yeah, actually.  I got the two X-Men editions.  But I kept on passing on the Avengers one, and eventually missed out on that completely.

Does anyone know if these two lines are the same scale?

There is a site out there which has some scale comparisons of old Marvel figures.  Not sure if I have the link anymore.  If remember correctly Old Marvel figures weren't often in scale with themselves let alone with Legends.
