Well, what was originally suppose to be a 3-week project has now turned into a 5-week project.  And the consulting agency that hired me to work at this bank has said there's a very good possibility of me being hired as a full-time employee with the bank.  That is AWESOME news!   ;D

Other people who work in the same department there as me have told me this is how they hire people... they bring you in as a consultant, test drive you to see if you'll work in their system, and if you're good they'll hire you.

I'm a very happy camper right now!

Just want to share my good fortune also...  I was fortunate enough after a grueling search to find an outstanding job this week!   ;D :o ;D

Only 3 days a week,  working doubles,  at an extremely generous wage.  It has definitely been a long time coming...

Look out Hasbro,  I'm comin' to spend this time...

FINALLY got a job!

After 5 months of not working I finally got myself a job!  It's not that I wasn't looking, but the market absolutely sucks so it was just hard to find something.  I will be working as an Application Security Administrator (ASA) for the Chicago Federal Home Loan Bank.  I am very excited about doing this job.  The long wait was worth it, because I'm going to have awesome benefits and it pays very well.  I start working there on Monday.  I am a happy camper!   ;D

Nice work Chris, sounds like an awesome job. I assume you will be encrypting software and data transmissions, what about wireless and/or network transfer security?
