I was kind of thinking similar but it doesn't look as dumbed down as the Rebels toys which I recently saw defended like they were the second coming recently, and I just don't get it... That AT-DP collapses every bit as easily as the AT-ST does/did and it's less easily fixed IMO. The TIE was kind of neat, but my love ended there really.
The reasoning to scale these Speeders down escapes me I guess. They look as though they'd have fit the boxes they're made to even if they'd been the SLIGHTLY larger sizes they'd have needed to be, but hey whatever.
I see potential in the Snowspeeder as a "speederjeep", something I've always kind of enjoyed as a Star Wars concept of sorts... West End Games had something out and even made a miniature of it back in the day, but I like this design more. Basically a small utility vehicle. And this looks BETTER than those Rebels ships... IE: less of a printed plastic sheet, and little more detailed. I don't care for that color, but I can change that. It looks like there's separate details and things I can work with at least. Slightly smaller than its on-screen counterpart, but I'll work with it, and given how little ST stuff I'm likely picking up I'll happily move it into my OT scenes with some Stormies in it.

The other Speeder, which shall remain nameless for spoiler's-sake, looks like something out of the road warrior. Weird but cool. Again, definitely truncated but not by a huge margin so I don't get WHY. The box looks like it would've handled the slightly larger size, but hey whatever.
