AOTC Preview Clone Trooper

How many of this guy does everyone actually have?  I'm not really sure about myself, but right now I have about 30-35 of them I'd guess.

They blend in ok with the newer versions that have just come out, but I do have to say that I am sick of their static pose.  Although the 3-pks are in static posed as well, at least they have some variety.

About 2 weeks ago, I saw a ton of these Preview Clones at a TRU.  I passed on getting any more though.  Would anyone have gotten them had they seen them?

I picked up about 6 loose ones from the forums... I got a whole gunship full... 2 squads worth, I believe.

Damn Chewie... that's an awful lot of Clone Troopers you have there!  

I know I don't have anywhere near that many.  I have a few carded and none that are loose.  I have a bunch of Clone Troopers out in my little dioramas, but nothing to the amount that you posess.  Holy cow!!!

I have maybe 4 or 5.  In Canada, these things were so few and far between as to be ridiculous.  I traded to get most of mine and only managed to find two at retail.  Only TRU carried them and not many at that.  It was so rare that I really thought Hasbro had screwed up, releasing the white one when the early, and less necessary (from an army building standpoint) one should have been the red from the regular release.  

Annoying it was.  You may not like the static pose, but at least you have lots.

I only have one, and in the UK they remain quite expensive, that’s assuming you can still find one.

I saw only about 6 of them at TRU & picked up 2.
30-35 of them is on heck of an army!

I have 4. I'd rather see the red one repainted white before buying anymore of these.

I only have about 5 or 6 of these. They were really hard to find around here. I have a HUGE army of the red and white clone captains, and I'm actually considering going all Carnor Jax and painting them into "Custom clones" myself.....but I'm scared I'll mess them up beyond repair.

I have two preview Clone Trooper figs and that's good enough for me.  The preview CT's static pose didn't leave much room for versatility (which is precisely why I only bought two).

40 of them?  You sick ba$tard don't you know when enough is enough...  Just kidding, I bet they look awesome set up in your diorama.

I've accumulated most of these at TRU stores, and found several at a Walmart a while back for $2 each on clearance.  I also found several at a collector show for $2 each loose.  They really weren't all that rare in the St. Louis area, or I got very lucky in finding them.

If I see any more, I would only pick them up if there was someone I knew that needed some.

As for the Clone 3-pk versions, well I am sure when it is all said and done, I will get around 12-15 or so of the 3-pks, which will give me 35-45 more Clone Troopers.  Cound the 7 or 8 red Clones, 7-8 pilot Clones, and the extra ones I plan on getting from the special 2-pks, and I am sure I will have well over a 100 of them come Christmas time...  GO CLONE WARS!!!

I wish I could set them all up right now.  I've run out of room, and half of my army is in boxes right now.

This is a great figure.  It's a good likeness, and a good sculpt.  Could it have more articulation?  Sure.  But I actually like the blast feature, too.

Another cool thing about this figure is this:  you can pose him sitting in the forward hatches of the Republic Gunship in an interesting way.  You can have him sitting in that hatchway as a kind of door-gunnner, and it looks pretty cool.
