lol, I love that we are all excited about Moroff  ;D

Was Dedra getting Force choked?  ???

I'm guessing (hoping) we don't see Vader at all.  My guess is its something else fairly normal - e.g. poison, lack of oxygen (depressurization in space),  stress, etc.

I noticed that shot of Dedra Meero, too!  It didn't seem insignificant.  And it sounds like the final arc could be centered around the intel about Project Stardust.

Zero reason to think this, but for some reason I feel like it'd be cool if it was The Emperor and not Vader that turns up in Andor S2.  All the ISB stuff and action happening on Coruscant, seems like it would be natural for Palps to find out, kill Dedra for her incompetence, and then dispatch Vader to go deal with Krennic and ensure Project Stardust (hence Vader's interest in Krennic in Rogue One).

I'd love to see Palpatine, too, especially if they are showing Mon Mothma in the Senate.  It'd be interesting to see if there are other characters in the Senate that were around during the prequels (besides the obvious Bail Organa), like Sly Moore or Mas Amedda, just to see some continuity... and what would be even cooler is if we get to see Sim Aloo or other Imperial Dignitaries (I believe they're called Advisors now) to bridge the prequels and OT and possibly put a focus on getting a figure of this old decrepit dude.

In light of Yularen's speech in season 1, where he mentions speaking with the Emperor personally?  Dedra's career has certainly been on the rise.  And I think it's possible that she could draw the sort of attention that she might not want.

That would be a great use of Palpatine in the Disney-SW era... unlike TROS...

I really cannot wait for S2. The new trailer looks great... and this show feels incredibly timely with everything going on. My wife and I are going to do another rewatch of S1 (just as soon as we finish our "Last of Us" rewatch).

If only Hasbro could get us more figures from Andor/Rogue One, there is just so much potential from the trailer alone.

I went back and rewatched the last few episodes of Andor.  I'm so jacked for tonight's Season 2 premier.  I'm worried that my hopes might be too high after the first season - usually I go in to new streaming Star Wars series with a fairly moderate to low expectation, but not this time.

We started a rewatch too, but only made it through the first six episodes because we were splitting time with a rewatch of The Last of Us & playoff hockey. I'll probably rewatch the finale right before the new premiere tonight. I am sooo excited for tonight. I have (one of) my Andor t-shirts on today and will be listening to the score throughout the workday. Like Dave, this is the highest expectations I've had for a SW series in a while, going in (and I generally like most of the shows). Looking at some of the press tour stuff lately and trusting in Tony Gilroy, I'm sure they won't disappoint.

I rewatched the finale because that was about as much Cyril as I could stand seeing again, and it was so good. I hope they wrap up the loose ends with the older characters in the first arc though.

I don't tend to get too wrapped up in critics and rotten tomatoes and all that (I like to just watch and decide for myself), but after the last few duds it is very refreshing to see all the positive reviews out there for Season 2.  Sounds like we are in for an awesome 4-weeks of new Star Wars!

Syril is such an annoying simp.  The actor does an awesome job portraying him like that!

Watched all three episodes last night and loved them.  A+.

Loved the Krennic stuff and them diving into Ghorman as a larger part of this story.  That is some loooong time SW lore right there - going back into some 1990s RPG sourcebook stuff.  The dates of some things are being shifted around from the old Legends stuff and the old Legends stuff had Tarkin as the focal point where this maybe will be Krennic now.

I was really looking forward to this series and how it'd tie into Rogue One, but I guess I never stopped to think about how it's going to sort of tie into Star Wars Rebels a bit too as that show also covered Ghorman/Mon Mothma and the start of the Rebel Alliance.

I watched them all too and enjoyed them but wasn’t blown away. I feel like maybe I was hoping to see more of a build up to the Sienar heist and could have probably stood less wedding stuff.

The Empire stuff continues to be the most fascinating stuff to me. That meeting left me with questions though:

1) is “energy independence” their cover story for the Death Star? I assume that based on Krennic’s comment about the “reactor lens”.
2) wondering if this occurs before or after he recruits Galen Erso?

I liked Brasso more than Bix or that kid, sorry to see him go.

I just could not wrap my head around the Imperial Audit. ITS AN ENTIRE FKING PLANET!! You couldn’t find anywhere to hide??

Syril’s mom needs her own spin-off show. 😂

I felt the same way.  Good, but not great.  But to be honest that is how I felt about Andor season 1 as I was watching it live.  It wasn't until the whole thing was done that I really felt the genius behind some of the "slower" segments and how it ultimately tied together so perfectly.

I'm going to try and withhold judgement a little bit based on my experience with season 1.

My mild gripes that will probably turn out to be irrelevant when its all said and done:
- I did feel the rebel group on the moon of Yavin seemed a little slow and unnecessary, but maybe they needed Cassian to be tied up (literally) while stuff was happening to Bix and crew.  I think the point they're trying to get across with the Ferrix refugees is that there really isn't anywhere to hide in the whole galaxy, so you might as well fight.
- Not sure I like the Dedra / Cyril relationship, but I'm guessing it will matter somehow later.
- Agreed the wedding stuff seemed a little long, but again I'm guessing this is setting the stage for Mon Mothma's character development, or at least Luthen being "the cleaner".

Sad to see Brasso go, but we really should have put a betting pool together for the over/under on how long all of the characters other than Mon Mothma and Cassian would last.  Sadly, I think nearly everyone is going to die.
