What’s pathetic here is your use of the word NEVER. Did you NEVER learn what it actually means? Or you did, and you just NEVER got any of your facts straight?


A history and fact lesson for you:


-While it is true the word “crowdfunded” was not attached initially, it was not for the reason you claim. It was added by our team for accuracy, clarification, and transparency, because the original owner did not. Want to know why those projects were called pre-orders and the word “crowdfunded” wasn’t attached? Because HE established that precedence. The Bantha was launched BY HIM, 3 months before we took over. And the funding process didn’t change magically over night, dumbass. It was crowdfunded from the start, he just didn’t call it that. (We took over the Bantha at 2% funding, and got it to 100%, just FYI since you think I can’t do anything right). The notion that it was because I “missed dates” is laughable. There were no dates on the Bantha, there couldn’t have been. Over a year later it was still a question of if it would even ever get backed. So how is that NOT crowdfunded? How was could there have been dates? This notion is so epically stupid it doesn’t even deserve this explanation, but here we are.


Further, even the single figures at the time were actually low level crowdfunded. CS used to tell people in the group all the time “You asked for (so and so) figure, so I did it. But we don’t have enough orders. If we don’t sell more we won’t make enough to keep going nothing gets made and all this stops. So tell your friends” Relying on the community ahead of time for orders to get produced, and if not it doesn’t happen——IS CROWDFUNDING!


Maybe you were not in the group at the time, but I was and long before we took over, and I have the screenshots to prove it.

And added all new versions of existing figures. Not bad for someone you claim never puts out product.

Yeah there is also an eBay seller who has sold about 40 SLC Han Stormtroopers this year, despite lots of people being owed them as part of The 13, and that seller is apparently near Cleveland.  Speculation is that it’s Krahn living with his parents but I have no idea.  I feel gross chasing this guy around the internet but also he owes everyone money and refuses to admit it.

Stan Solo R4-E1 is shipping for those who pre-ordered.  Toninka sisters shouldn't be too far behind.  I think that will catch up on everything he had up.  Waiting to see what new items pop up.

I did preorder the sisters because I didn’t want to take any chances that there weren’t extras.  So that’s exciting.

I haven't done any of these 3rd Party toys since I don't really do much Vintage collecting... But with the Hasblab Cantina coming I am thinking about picking up that ball speeder for the shelf. TLDR on the drama, is Stan Solo's site the "safe" one to order from or is that the one run by the con-artist sounding fellow?

That site is totally safe.  It’s just US distribution for Stan Solo.  They ship in bulk and then you don’t have to pay to ship from the UK.

They sent mine along with the new R4 droid.  Can't believe I am mostly caught up with SS.  Just missing a couple R2 units and some protocol droids.  I passed on items that were remakes of existing vintage items, hoping to get the real deal some day.

Rob (and crew) - how long does it usually take Stan Solo to get everything shipped out from pre-orders?  Just curious when I should expect my Tonnika Sisters - if it'll be soon, or if I might be waiting months for them.

If I got mine the other day the odds are other preorders are going out now or soon.

Usually Chris Smith ships in bulk to the US guy who mails them from there.  I’d imagine they have hundreds of orders to go through and I don’t think it’s an operation with lots of employees or anything.

I think it really depends on how many they get in at a time.  They go in order that the orders come in.  They do all preorders before listing the items as in stock.  Generally, I think the figures come in batches from the factory so it is possible preorders will go out in multiple batches.
