Two emails on this in the past day.

One is an unboxing video.

The other is a notice to update your address by December 4th.  I’m hoping that means these will start shipping on the fifth.

Got both those emails as well, so I’m definitely thinking a December delivery date… I watched the unboxing video as well and the ship is massive!

(I recovered my password. Woohoo!)

I'm torn over whether I should have backed two, one that I'll let my younger nephew and nieces play with,  and who'll inevitably mess up, and one for my display. On the other hand, the unboxing reminds me how big this is and that I need to preserve  space for future haslabs.

Regardless, I'm  more excited about this now than during the backing period.

I like how he said Hera’s cabin was on one side and “the rest of the crew” on the other side. Dude, there are 5 people on that ship! The other 4 didn’t all share one bunk bed!  :D

Little disappointed they did not add any weathering on the bottom of the ship, but otherwise looks nice.

I really like the Jazzwares Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron Ghost. It’s got more interior than the Haslab version and is more closely scaled to the figures. The Phantom Shuttle made for it is a tad large, but that has the interior and cockpit, etc. as well. The MGS Ghost has the full cockpit and forward gun station, boarding ramp, 4x crew cabins, passageways to the side airlocks, turret, and the full rec room. Integrated lights and sounds too. It has weathering applications as well and looks the part.

This is not to bash the Haslab TVC Ghost - it looks massive and wonderful all the same - but the MGS version sure is nice

I'm starting to worry about the timing on this... I hope it doesn't arrive right when everyone is traveling for the holidays.

Assuming Hasbro sends these via FedEx again (like they did with Razor Crest and the Barge) you can use FedEx delivery manager to set the delivery day or steer the delivery to a FedEx location:

https://www.fedex.com/en-us/delivery-manager.html

I used this on the Sail Barge since we were travelling for Spring Break when they were shipped.  Did a vacation hold and then set the delivery day when we were back.  I think there is a 2-week limit on the vacation hold but you can have it re-routed to a fedex retail location and have someone pick it up there for you if you'll be out of town traveling... or if you need to hide the giant box's arrival from your wife or something (like some MN collectors I know :P).

Oh awesome... I have that but have never actually used it to change a delivery date.  I just get emails from Delivery Manager telling me when stuff will arrive.

My Grandmother passed away on Thanksgiving.  Her memorial service is scheduled for 13 December and I'm travelling up to NY for it.

That's the day it will arrive.
