I'm not sure what to say about this.
On the one hand I love getting stuff we don't have and especially something like Joruus that is all new.
On the other hand, what in the actual
f*** heck is going on? They're choosing to make figures from something that is 30 years old and (I'm assuming) not even canon when they haven't made so many other more relevant figures from Andor, Ahsoka, The Mandalorian, Skeleton Crew, Bad Batch, Solo, the Sequel Trilogy.
Rob - I'm not sure if you're serious or being sarcastic. I know I don't plumb the depths of Star Wars discussion groups, but are people asking for Joruus C'boath (and kitbashed Thrawn and Palleon figures)
If people really are asking for this, then I guess, great, but these are way down my list when there are a lot of more relevant (in my opinion) figures that should be prioritized with brand new sculpts. I don't recall this being anywhere high up on people's lists either when there is large scale voting.
I've got a ton of figures/toys displayed at home by theme, and I'll be honest that the "Expanded Universe" stuff like this doesn't get put out. Its left in a bin and deprioritized.
I assume this is targeted at those over 45 who read these novels/comics back in the day. If you were going to pick something that was targeted at oldsters like us I would have thought something weirder and even more random like Vlix would have been selected.
When Hasbro is choosing where to spend time on all new sculpts and they choose Heir to the Empire, I'm really a bit at a loss as to how they got there. (Same goes for The Shadows of the Empire figures they're working on - really?)
