Spinning this off into it's own thread now that it's official via the various Hasbro Pulse social channels (this was the Twitter version):

"STAR WARS The Vintage Collection x HasLab - new campaign launching at San Diego Comic Con.

Stay tuned for more information!

#STARWARS #STARWARSTheVintageCollect #STARWARSTVC  #HasbroPulse #Hasbro #HasLab #HasbroPulseSDCC2025"

Also, early pics from the Hasbro Booth show a large HasLab case waiting to show off the project.  There is sand in the display case so people seem to be guessing Tatooine (Sandcrawler or Krayt Dragon for some reason) or maybe Geonosis arena sand and Republic Gunship.  I guess U-Wing could work if that is Scarif beach sand too?  Also just read some people guessing a Jabba's BArge re-do too for some reason?

I still think Steve was hinting when he said “look to the skies!” Or whatever on his Instagram feed.

Yeah I suppose that does make it less likely, forgot about that.

If they were to redo the Khetanna, it would kill the Haslab model.

Given Steve's hint, possibly a better U-Wing?  We better get all of the Rogue One squad if that's the case.  I also want pilots and gunners like Bistan!

Could it be the Marauder?

Honestly, I wish they would deliver the Cantina before asking us to back another TVC Haslab.
This is the way.

I have spoken.

In AOTC, when the Jedi are surrounded in the Arena, Padme says "Look!" and all the main characters look to the sky to see the Republic Gunships arriving......

A gunship still makes sense... people are suggesting LAAT too, but I can't even imagine how huge an LAAT Gunship would have to be to make it work.

Maybe the sand in the case is just for the Cantina?

I'm not sure what I want from this one. The last three, and the BMF are all so big that I am really running out of space for many more large vehicles. I'd be happy with the Marauder or a U-Wing. The original U-Wing was way too much of a kid's toy for me.

I also am increasingly leaning towards it being a new Gunship, which I could be on board with, but am not overly excited about... I had sold off all 4 versions of mine 15 years ago, and now they all go for close to $300. There hasn't been a rerelease of the Gunship in nearly 15 years. A large portion of the current and active Hasbro collector base is now 20-30-year-old collectors who were kids during the Prequel era. I think there has been a lot of clamoring and demand among that group for a new Gunship.

I'd be surprised if the Sand isn't for the Haslab since they've been teasing it that way on social media.  It would be a good fake out though!

Ah, I missed that in the last posts and am not really on social media. I guess sand would make sense for the gunship, too.

I don't need another gunship.

A really well done Sandcrawler with opening side and a bit of a playset would be pretty sweet, although I also feel like the versions we have so far are fine.  This is not at the top of my wish list.

No idea what they would do for tiers or pack-ins as we've got a bazillion different droids and quite a few Jawas.  I haven't done an inventory, but my guess is that they've made every droid from the ANH Lars Homestead scene.  Maybe some moisture vaporators or other desert life doo-dads.

Jayson posted the modified quote "around the HasLab, a perimeter create." So I'm calling the guessing game over at this point.

Well, I have at least two or three Gunships in a closet somewhere, so that’s a hard pass for me.  :(

I don't need another gunship.

I actually sold all my gunships maybe 15 or 16 years ago.  I don’t know why but I didn’t care about vehicles back then so much.

I’ve been toying with the idea of buying a few of the old ones for a couple of years now and am glad I didn’t.
