Live action is real iffy, not likely to have the budget, so can they do all the blue screen work affordably for tv?  I doubt it.  Cartoon is more likely, artists work cheap, especially starting out artists.

As much as I'd like to see live action I dont think anyone could pull it off.  Especially on the small screen.  Like somebody said above it would just diminish the series further.  I think animation would be less risky as well.  I would hope if it's animation that it would be something that is not squarely for the little kiddies.  I don't want to see something like "The Gungan Tales" that only features Jar-Jar or some other kid-oriented character.  Han Solo and Chewbacca sounds ok but doubt it would last very long.  Something with and on-going story line might be nice.
