SCORE! Got mine early too!
I figured I'd try my luck with my local TRU, and poked my nose in there shortly before closing tonight. The pegs were completely EMPTY. All there were were a few 12", a couple screen scenes, and some old Action Fleet.
But I figured I'd be thorough, so I flipped open the overhead storage compartment, and what do I see...?! Yep, a whole buttload of loose Silver Clonetrooper cards! So I glanced around and when the coast was clear (wasn't sure if I was allowed to be in that storage thing), I started pulling them down and laying them out, and sorting through them all for the nicest cards. Good thing I had the opportunity to do so, 'cause about 85% of them weren't mint, and most of them were actually pretty jacked up.
But fortunately, out of the 25 or so that I looked through, I managed to find a handful of nice ones. Ran them through the price scanner, and sure enough - $4.99 each! Jackpot! So I grabbed several for me and a few buddies, and was on my merry way!
Just glad I don't have to bum rush the local TRUs tomorrow in an effort to find one, and a MOMC one as well. Still going to stop by TRU tomorrow though, in hopes that they stock their pegs with some new figures for the promotion. Sure as hell don't know what people are going to buy to get this figure for free if they don't stock some new stuff...
