The Jerk Watched this for the first time in a few years this weekend, it really is one of the best movies ever made and is so full of classic lines "I was born a poor black child in Mississippi"
4.
Caddyshack Bill Murray and Chevy Chase are great...perfect for where they were in the early 80's...but the true star of the show and one of the reasons why Caddyshack 2 was soooo horrible, Rodney Dangerfield was simply sublime.
3.
Kingpin I don't think I have ever laughed harder in a theater than when me and my two buddies went and saw this at a matinee.
2.
Vacation Classic flick, classic scenes, classic babes, classic all around. Start singing Holiday Road and you immediately start to smile
1.
This is Spinal Tap One of my all time favorite movies regardless of the genre, the outtakes on the DVD are almost as good as the rest of the movie. The Stonehenge bit had me literally rolling on the floor when I first saw it.
Marti: May I ask, what is that?
Nigel: Well, it's a trilogy of music I'm composing.
Marti: It's quite a step from what you're doing in the band.
Nigel: Well, I'm experimenting with different keys, and I found D-minor to be the saddest key. And it goes like this [starts playing] dah, dah, dah, dah.
Marti: It's really quite beautiful.
Nigel: Well, it's... it's like a combination of Mozart and Bach... it's like.. like a "Mach" piece.
Marti: What's it called?
Nigel: This piece is called "Lick My Love Pump".
Marti: Oh.
