Chad Bennett, licensing coordinator for Innovision, the company that brought us the original commtechs from 1999, announced yesterday at the Hasbro press summit that the new improved chips will in fact be ready for an early November release. Like the previous chips, the new ones will come packaged with single card figures as well as multi-packs.

I do not know really how to react to this, I kinda liked the commtechs, but that means, prices are going to go up!

I hope the CT never come back.  The are one of the worst ideas in the long list of worst ideas by Hasbro.  I didn't even buy the CT reader when it was clearanced for like two bucks.  Bunch of over priced stands are what they are.
