Home Repair. My Dad knows everything about fixing anything and I wish that that gene had been passed down to me.
Recently, I had a leak in my house, and had to call roto rooter. They came and chopped a hole in a wall we just painted only to find that the pipe wasn't a problem.
My Dad comes over to visit and figures out it's the tile, and does so in the span of about 20 minutes. Then he tells me we can fix what I thought was going to be a four or five thousand dollar problem for less than 100 bucks including the tile.
He also seems to know how to fix everything else that I don't. It's cool, but quite annoying that something seemingly so simple is so hard for me to figure out.
Luckily....I have the one skill I can always help him with: Computers.
