Thought I'd give this memorable thread a much-needed bump for the upcoming Ferrell flick,
Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.

"Help me, Jesus! Help me, Jewish God! Help me, Tom Cruise! Tom Cruise, save me with your witchcraft!"
Anyone else looking forward to it? I am. This is the first time I've been interested in something NASCAR-related since, well,
ever.
Great cast:
Ferrell, Amy Adams, Sacha Baron Cohen (Ali G), Gary Cole (Lumbergh), Jane Lynch, Chris Parnell, John C. Reilly, Andy Richter, and many, many more, too numerous to mention.
Directed by Adam McKay, written by McKay and Ferrell, and produced by Judd Apatow--the same exact lineup for Anchorman. So I'm assuming that if people liked Anchorman, they'll like this, and if they hated it, same thing.
Due on Friday, August 4.
(P.S. Anyone see that there's gonna be an
Old School sequel?)
