Well, I'd have taken all his other stuff too, of course   Would have saved me a lot of money, though crossing the border could have been entertaining. 

Madison only has about 100,000 people in it, I could have found the place.  (black helicopter disclaimer: I am, of course, kidding about all of this).

This is about the only thread I want my wife to read.  People are nuts.  I mean that's cool and all, but geez, that's $2000 Canadian.    A lot of money.

Those displays are nice. I can only hope that the 3 or 4 modern ones that I have like that (mobiles) are worth that much in 20 years. I doubt it tho

No doubt, but I am not there nor do I think I will be there.  Like Dave, I have some nice modern pieces and I certainly understand the appeal of those vintage items but I just can't part with that kind of cash.  My only real reward the day of the DVD release was a couple of the pieces from a Zellers display and they are mighty nice.  I'm hoping to get some more stuff from ROTS as well. 

If I stumbled on vintage display stuff, I'd be happy to keep it but sure would be tempted to sell.

I don't think I'd be in too big a hurry to bid one something for the money he wants when he only has a feedback rating of 43.  Even if these are legit, I think he's going to have a hard time convincing people of that fact.  Nowadays, you have to be skeptical about auctions like these on eBay, and I think that's going to hurt his ability to sell.

I agree with you Jesse. I don't think these 2 items will sell and for that kind of money I would rather have a Rocket Fett or a Vlix and may still have some coin to boot!
