I like, and watch Star Trek (TNG and DS9 anyway), and I can safely say only douchebags call us "Warsies".

Oh I definitely used to watch TNG and the OS. Hell, I watched DS9 more than a few times too. But they just don't really do it for me when it comes down to it. I can say that my favorite of the franchise was TNG. I watched that every week for years, up to the point when it ended.

The warsies thing is pretty lame. Just because they've got a dweeby name associated with their fanbase doesn't mean we need one.

I'm watching TNG right now...  Great episode Lando, the one where they encounter the "Bratain" adrift and the crew killed each other because they culdn't get into REM sleep and went insane.

I think this was a Halloween-ish episode when it was released.

Very cool one...  Seeing the ship fall apart...  Worf almost kill himself.  Great!

Whenever I run into people who want to get into the SW vs. ST debate in real life, I just turn around and walk away.  It is the most pointless activity I can think of.

Debating about political issues in a calm and respectful manner: okay.
