Well, I've got one of these that I bought last year on clearance:



Basically it's a generic equivalent to Neo from The Matrix--only it's fake leather instead of cloth, so it's actually even cooler. (There's a chick version out too).

Although it remains to be seen whether I'll be invited to anything where I can wear it. A former coworker invited me to her and her BF's Halloween party months ago, but one of her other friends is throwing a party so they're going to that instead. :'( The college is throwing some "Halloween Dance" but that doesn't count as I'm sure it will be lame-o. ::)

I'm not dressing up but my almost 2 year old is going as Darth Vader.  His 1.5 year old cousin will be Leia.  I am looking forward to that.

We dressed him up since we are going to "Boo at the Zoo" tomorrow.  I guess kids dress up and go to the zoo.  The "helmet" does not fit him at all and he keeps taking it off.  There were some decent shots, but hopefully between tomorrow and Halloween night I'll get some better ones and post them.  The costume actually fit except the helmet :)

We had a good time trick or treating in our SW get-ups.  The neighbors got a big kick out of it too -- the dads as much as the kids :)

Here's a pic of the boys (and my wife and I) at my wife's office Halloween party:


Liam = Batman, Logan = The Flash

Tonight, I ended up putting on one of my Green Lantern T-shirts and rings so we had a nice little mini-JLA thing happening...  (though my wife said "no way" to the WW costume  :P).


And, for some 'lil Star Wars costumes, the nieces and nephew stopped by to show off their home-made costumes:


Yoda was a little too tired to pose, but she was definitely cute  ;)

I did the house up as an insane asylum with me being the caretaker (no comments here, please  ;) ) and had a blast. We had about 60-70 kids come by. About 90% of the kids loved it, but I had to have my wife pass out some candy when the other 10% hit the driveway and began to whimper.
