Is Yoda wearing a vest? From the narrow crop of the picture, it is not conclusive that that is Sidious wielding the red lightsaber. For all we know, that could just be a Sith backing him up, ala Vader at the start of the ROTJ duel.

Welcome to JD, rishakra!  Yeah, we were all speculating a page or two back in this thread that those must be dead Royal Guards there.  Especially evident in that second shot.  Very cool if those statues are finally going to see some action after 6 movies!

Chewie, I think basically we're of the opinion that it must be Sidious there, 'cause who else could have a red lightsaber?  Judging by rumors I've heard, Dooku's not going to be seeing any action with his, and Ani's got a blue saber when Obi whoops his ass, and I'm guessing he won't have a red saber 'til he's reincarnated as Vader.  So it's gotta probably be Sidious, or possibly Vader himself.  But most likely the former...

Don't see any vests on Yoda either.  More like his Jedi pajamas...

No doubt that's Sidious. At the end of that clip, you can see his saber hilt. It's the small rounded one that was in a BTH image a couple months back.

Yep, same lightsaber hilt from the BTH pic.  FWIW, Joshua Griffin formerly of TFN stated that Sidious undergous a "literal" physical  transformation.  This would help explain his appearance in ROTJ and perhaps the "mask" of the darkside comes down when Sidious unleashes the power of the Darkside?

OK, just watched the trailer on TRL and Palpatine gives an evil laugh during his lightsaber-wielding shot.  Trailer looks SO much better on a bigger screen.

So just caught the Access Hollywood airing of the trailer. Cropped to 1:78:1 and a third of the bottom portion of the screen filled with their **** graphics "New Star Wars trailer!" flashing across the screen. That was pointless. TV really, really is a ****fest.

It really did nothing for me. I hate "teaser" trailers. They are just such a.... tease.
