Anyone Customize any Madines?

Just looking for some ideas here.  Anyone do any head swaps yet on him?  If so, which ones worked the best.  Also, a question as to how many Generals were in that outfit in ROTJ?  3 or 4?

Yeah - I've customized two of them myself so far - put a Wedge head on one just because it looked pretty cool.  For the other one, do you know the TRU line of army figures called Elite Force that retail for about $4.99 each?  They have excellent heads for Star Wars customs - I ended up using one of those for the other.

For the Madine extra heads that I have now, so far I have used one - I put it on the body from the Nikto from the TRU Jedi 4-pk and added the SAGA Qui Gon Jinn hands - it turned out OK.

seriously though, I've not done any so far but stocked up on some Madines in the KM sale on Friday just for this purpose.

I believe there were 3 (Madine and 2 others) in the Home ONe briefing scene.  Can't be sure on that though, but I think it is three and they're pictured behind Madine on his OTC Card actually, if you look.

Lando thats what I ended up doing.  I also used the Madine head on the Riekkan body.  I also used the Madine head on a Dodonna body and a Dodonna on the Madine body.  Just quick swaps but they look decent enough.  Im probably going to stick a Madine head on the Dodonna and switch out the coat with an Antilles vest.  Confusing aint it

How does it look? That's what I intend to do when I pick my second Madine...it just seems like such a cool way to go.

Its a pretty good match.  I'll try and take a snapshot later.  The only problem is that the neck peg on Riekkan is terribly long and you need to cut off half of it.

I've been wanting to put a Riekean head on a Captain Antilles body myself.  I've envisioned Riekean as just Dodonna's replacement at some point (for whatever reason), especially since the Hoth uniforms definitely echo sentiments of the Yavin uniforms and such.

The Home One generals I always have separated into a separate part of the military, and thus the uniform difference.  I clumped them into the Special Services branch of things...  With that in mind, I intend to make a Madine into a General Cracken (Intelligence CO), and maybe the two goofballs standing around with Madine then.    Some Fan-Fic guys too.

I have a George Patton head I wanna cast some day and make him as a General, though more the "Fleet" uniform instead of Madine's.

I think that madine looks like an older verion of Luke, seriously check it out. If you wanted to make mid-life luke I would be all over using madines head.

You're right - if Luke were to ever have a beard this would be a great choice for a custom Luke.

Wish I could post the pics I have.  They wont seem to upload to my XP system.  Dodonna actually looks quite well on the Madine body.  The Riekkan head looks just okay.  Not sure if its that Kerry creepiness but I just dont like the look.

I'm wanting to do a Riekean at one point or another...  He's about the same build as the figures available, more or less.

Madine's uni isn't the same as Dodonna's, and visa versa, so I'm not interested in really swapping them out.

A Madine as Imperial though, since that's his history supposedly, now that's interesting.    Anyone trying that?

I envision Dodona/Riekean as Rebel Fleet Officers, and Madine's an officer for Special Forces, and I separate the two as almost unique entities of the military.  Something like how the SS and Wermacht (for lack of a "good guy" reference) were separate entities with unique uniforms.

Anyway...

I'm gonna start a new topic for this, but check it out.  It's about Antilles' arms.  Works with Ozzel too!  May work with other figures as well.
