Oh man, I loved him...I don't know if there was any other actor who was so good in so many different things. Chet, Hudson, the douchey car salesman in True Lies, the sidekick in Predator 2...he basically stole every movie he was in. Super sad to hear.

Wow, he was in a ton of movies that I've watched over and over.  Weird to think that he's passed on before my son has even seen Aliens.

That performance alone was amazing.  Who knew that both he and Tom Arnold would be so funny in a James Cameron movie?!?!

Tom Arnold is highly underrated and I say that with a straight face.  He's a funny guy.

Paxton was a damn good actor and by all accounts a humble and nice person too.  I am amazed how much he's been in too.  Had no idea.  He went from a main guy to very bit parts and was all over the place.

Oh, I know Tom Arnold is funny.  But I don't think that people would mistake him for a comedy writer/director.

Paxton is gone way too young.  I still remember when 'Big Love' premiered on HBO, and I was really impressed with him in that leading role.  It was a complicated show that was dealing with an incredibly touchy subject like polygamy in the LDS community in the American West.  Now there are reality shows about polygamist families.  I don't want to get into arguing the morality of that, but Paxton and that show at least started a more open dialogue about this lifestyle and some of it's darker elements.

I never thought much of Arnold till he started showing up on Stern regularly and he really was quick...  His feud with Roseanne was fantastic radio too because they'd both come on and have things to say, though he took the higher road generally.  I have to say I was shocked by him.  I was shocked he could act decently too.  Pass in a crowd if it got big enough at least. 

I'd forgotten about Big Love actually.

The night he died, Tombstone was on, and he played Morgan perfectly I felt.  A great movie.  One of his best.  Can't say, after seeing now all the movies he was in, one was on the night he died.
