Moonraker remains my favorite Bond film and I don't care what anyone says. Moore was 'my' Bond growing up and I loved him.

Yeah I'm kinda like that too.  I like Connery too, but Moore was the guy when they were new to me.  Plus goddam he had some of the hottest women in his movies.  Octopussy alone was overload.

Funny thing there's a Moonraker Cafe I see signs for on the highway...always wonder if they have a poster or something in there. Never been.

:'( Not my favorite Bond, but his movies are still fun to watch and were part of my youth.

I'm going to go with "not the best Bond, but still my favorite Bond".

RIP, Sir Roger Moore.  :'(

Totally with you guys on this one... not the best James Bond but but he was my James Bond.  The first Bond from my youth that I watched and always a favorite.

Is it just me or are we seeing a ton of celebrity deaths this year?  It feels like some new big name drops every week.   :-\

I think most of us are early 40s +/- so some of it might just be our perspective.  Some of the names that we grew up watching as kids were probably mid-40s at the time of their movies and now are all early 80s and dropping off.  10 years ago the people that were dying were probably people we didn't always identify with, and as we get older we can relate to more and more of the names.

You had to love Adam West.  The man was an original, and always knew to never take himself too seriously.  His work on 'Family Guy' was hilarious.  And whenever I would see him on the convention circuit he was one of the coolest guys in the room (not too hard at a convention, LOL!).

Stephen Furst passed away from complications from diabetes.  Best known as Flounder from Animal House and Vir Cotto in Babylon 5.
This is the way.

I have spoken.
