Hello all!

I think most of you know me from RS and after some prodding from certain JD members, not to mention the recent rather rude comments from RS administration to all of it's forum members, I decided to take the plung and register. I'm sure it'll take a while for me to get acclamated to the site, but just wanted to give you all a warning that I will be poking around. Cheers! ;D

You were pretty much the final holdout over at RS that I really wanted to see over here, so I'm thrilled you've finally stopped on by to check us out, and on your own accord no less.  I'm sure you'll enjoy things here, and recognize many a face.

What'd you put the period after "around" for?  It'd make more sense without it, as "Cheers" has been our nickname here at JD for a few years...  You know?  Where everyone knows your name...  Duh, da da da da da duh...  :P

So enjoy the cozy confines here at JD, and don't let the RS ****storm of a thread here frighten you.  We're all just venting a little, since RS was originally all of our homes too at one point.  But we're usually quite the happy bunch, as long as no RS shenanigans pop onto our radars...   ;)

So enjoy the site, and feel free to give any of the staff here a holler if you've got any comments, questions, or suggestions about anything.  We're here to serve!  And I promise that none of us will ever tell you to "Get a life".  Unless we're being sarcastic, of course, which many of us are prone to.  Looking forward to seeing you around!

Welcome Anthony - I decided to make the JD switch back in Feb and I haven't regretted it since! You will find the boards here a completely liberating experience compared to the boards over at RS.

I'm glad you decided to join us, I always enjoyed your comments and insight over on the RS forums and I look forward to them here!
