Brrrr Brent :(.   It was sunny and in the low 70's here yesterday and they expect the same today,  It's supposed to turn cold later this evening -- highs in the mid to upper 30's tomorrow with a sleet/snow/rain mix for most of the day.  No wonder no one can get over being sick around here >:(

Yeah, the only thing our -40OC weather is good for is finally killing off all of the damn bugs that's been keeping everyone sick here too.  It sounds like the deep freeze will loosen it's grip this weekend though.  :)

Frickin' rodent said two more weeks of winter.  Liar.  It's warmed up to -44 with the wind chill now. Went out and walked to get lunch.  You know when Gore-tex gets crunchy, it's just not good.

I actually got 'warnings' at work today to aahhh ' brace yourselfs' for winter storm likely to hit this weekend with 1/2 to 2 inches of snow and ice storms possible ::). Boy, they sure don't know what weather is here in the high desert.
I'll believe it when I see it- even then if it does snow(once every 5 years here) then so what.. I'm not gonna overreact to it like the newscasters are ::)!

Seen too many a real winter if you know what I mean.

Much better today, when I went to work it was -27°C and no wind. Now it's -7°C with a bit of wind, better days coming up next week they say.  ;D

Winter finally made it here, snow on and off. Temps are still above normal during the day. I actually shovel my walk twice this winter.  ;D

It was good till after 3:00 pm today, snowing like crazy & the roads are getting ******. Seems Calgary was to get the dump & now it's blowing up here!  >:(

Nope, tonight.  5-10 cm.  No big though, we've had more snow this year than I can remember for a very long time. 

You know how you remember things being really big as a kid?  Like snowbanks?  But when you're older those snowbanks don't seem as big.  Well not this year, they're every bit as tall as they were when I was a kid.  Snow out the ying-yang baby.
