How much weight can I lose in 9 days?  I need to drop a solid 10 before getting there.  Possible?  While still eating like ****, and sitting in front of a computer all day?  Yeah, I didn't think so either...
Hmm... yeah, I remember that, I believe it was posted yesterday by Mr. Matt... and don't go saying I'm confusing my Matt's again... I was just teasing ya babe!  I'm going to make you cookies and brownies- and enough to share!  I'm going to be cooking a LOT it appears, so you'd better appreciate it!

I don't see the word diet in there anywhere.  I also said I need to lose this weight somehow, while still eating like ****, as usual.  So there.  I think I'm more than entitled to my cookies.  And brownies!   

BTW, the room's in my name, but just give me a buzz and I'll come down to the lobby and grab them.  You know, so none of the other mooches in there do any... mooching.  Thanks Shannon!

I'm still a newb myself (January 18), however....

Thank you to the creators, adminstrators, staff, and moderators of this fine site and my fellow forum denizens. Wacky antics notwithstanding I believe this is the most consistently articulate and mature group of SW forumers I've come across.

Articulate is a big deal with me. Here I don’t have to deal with drivel like “i saw r teh w00t lava vador is sUxxorZ lomgfhlol squeeeee!!!1111!” I don’t care how stupid your question, or how superficial your commentary--as long as you couch it in coherent English I'm inclined to take it seriously.

Besides all that, the forum software itself is great. I've been at some boards that're a real bitch to navigate and post in, but this is just a breeze to use, truly. About the only thing I would change is putting the Announcements section at the top, and making the Quote font a little larger.

Oh yeah ... and we get to cuss here. I’m not gonna post solid paragraphs of f-bombs but it’s nice to be able to use the occasional bit of blue vocabulary.
