"Fake" Vader?

Hello all!

New to this board, but was wondering if anyone can prove or disprove the existance of this figure:

I have collected 12 inch SW Figures since the early days (1978), but I have NEVER seen anything about this one on any web site or article. I tried to examine the photo and it appears as if the person used a Gamorrean Guard box and simply used some creative editing to make this new one.

If I am wrong, please let me know, as I will be happy to bid on this, but my pessimistic side tells me it's a fake.

Wasn't there like 4 Vinyl type figures released a few years ago...let me check around and see

Wow, that was quick! Thanks for the replies! I am not a fan of the vinyl ones, so I am glad I didn't shell out something I thought was an actual 12 inch figure!

Man, I got that for like $5 at Sam Goody a few years ago. Wish I'd have bought all that I saw now, since I could have made 10 times the money. :)

Did Applause make these?  Are they still in business??  I know at one time their founder/owner killed himself...
