  Okay, dumb title, but what kind of attitude do you have? A negative attitude or a positive one. I find that I, unfortunately have a negative attitude. I can't help it. It just seems like the glass is always half empty.

In the short term I tend to take a cynical attitude about individual events. But in the long run and in the grand scheme of things I believe in the fundamental goodness of people and that things will eventually even out for the better.

I am definitely a mix of the two.  It basically depends upon my mood for the day which it is going to be.

I think that all one need to do is look at the vast majority of my posts here to figure out that I'm a very cynical and pessimistic individual.

Some people view the glass as half full; some view it as half empty.  I tend to think that not only is the glass completely empty, it's about to be smashed by a falling anvil.   

The good thing about expecting the worst is that you're prepared when it does happen; if it doesn't happen, and things actually do go well and turn out great, you're pleasantly surprised and it makes it even nicer.

I'm all about the pessimism.  The glass is definitely half empty in my world.  I figure it's better to assume or prepare for the worst, so you're ready for it, but can also be pleasantly surprised if something ever exceeds your expectations or turns out surprisingly well...

The light in my light was suddenly extenguished when I last left Nashville, and realized I may never step foot in Wildcats again.  I've been in a bad mood ever since, which I'll be more than happy to illustrate to you a week from Friday, ******...
