Well, outside of three figures (Holographic Yoda, AT-TE Gunner and Polis Massan) and one vehicle (AT-RT), I'm officially caught up on the collection for the moment.  I found an ERG today at a K-Mart, and despite my efforts to attract the attention of a sales associate to open the case on the pallet to be stocked, I ended up opening it myself.  There was only one in the case and I felt really bad about opening the thing and taking one figure, but oh well.   

The figures that haven't been selling isn't what surprises me (Tarffuls and Obi-Wans as far as the eye can see), but the figures that are selling.  If it's anything Grievous (other than the Force Battlers), it goes fast.  The larger vehicles (the Jedi Starfighters, the Wheel Bike, the Tri Droid, Gunship, and the ARC-170) are practically nonexistent.  12" Sidious is tough, but not as tough as the Grievous seems to be.  I saw the Dooku lightsaber in the new style box at a local WM today, and it looks as if Obi-Wan's lightsaber is the most popular of this assortment.  I still haven't seen the AT-RT anywhere, and no sign of those Battle Arena things either.

Also, the Attacktix and Force Battler lines are neck in neck for winning my "Clearance Aisle Award of the Year" at this point.  The only thing that is helping the FB line avoid that is the Vader, which seems to actually be selling (relatively speaking).

Not sure if anyone else has noticed or had the same situation in your area as I.  But Clones and Guards are now extinct from all stores in my area.  These sat for days and then just vanished.  Im still sticking by the Clone released as being a really good figure.

At Midnight Madness I got AT-RT and Holo Yoda, and in late afternoon on April 2 I got Quickdraw Clone.

So I start small. But I'll be going at it all summer in increments of $10 - 20. Initial stampede aside, we all know 90% of this stuff will still be available come December.

TBK: The Droid Tri-Fighter is great.  I'd definitely recommend picking it up.  Grievous' Wheel Bike, on the other hand, is only passable, made less so by the fact that Hasbro apparently made it in the mirror image of how it appears in the film, and the fact that the Grievous pack-in figure is a complete piece of Happy Meal garbage.

So, I would say go with the Tri-Droid and wait on the Wheel Bike for clearance.

Still have yet to see any of the less common vehicles (up here) - no AT-RT, no ARC-170.  Only have seen the starfighters, wheelbike and the Gunship, nothing I need immediately as I think most are bound for clearance.  Kind of hoping to sneak out to a Target or something when I'm in Indy.

Went out this weekend and checked Target, Wal-Mart, and TRU...but unfortunately they hadn't gotten any new stock in (at least that I had seen).  I did pick up a Mon Mothma at Target that I had been putting off, and wanted to get before the sale ended.  I was hoping to pick up another Grievous Bodyguard or two, but they didn't have any.  I found a Red Royal Guard that I have been wanting at Shopko, but just couldn't pick it up, as their basic figures are priced at $9.  That just seems too high to me, maybe I'll regret it later.  I'm hoping that Target and Wal-Mart will be getting these eventually as well.  Still nothing above 32 in town either, at least that I have seen.  That said, here are the ones in the first 32 that seem to be disappearing quickly.

Grievous Bodyguard - Wish I would have picked up more than 1 on MM now, can't find them anywhere really.
Royal Guards - Both of course.  Only place I have seen them now is at that Shopko, for $9 a pop.
Clonetroopers - None anywhere, although they did hang out a bit the first week.

Somewhat Scarce:

Emperor Palpatine - You can find him, but not in real large numbers.
Darth Vader - Same as above.  Can be found, but not overly common.
