The Mrs. and I made the trek to Kohl's yesterday too, and found a pile of figures there. I picked up the following:
#33 Clone Commander (x2)
#34 Clone Pilot
#35 Palpatine (Red Saber)
#37 Vader's Medical Droid
#38 AT-TE Tank Gunner
They also had #40 Mas Amedda, but I decided to wait on that one. Kohl's seems to be getting some nice cases or something, because they had at least 5 of each type of Clone, and probably 15 or more of the #6 Clonetrooper. I would have liked to pick up more, but like Jeff mentioned, they were $6.99 a pop. I tried to justify it by saying I missed out on the Holo Yoda, so I saved $9.99 there
. I picked up an extra of the Commander, just because I really like that figure, and clones are always hard to come by. I really wanted to get extras of the pilot and tank gunner, but I figured I would rather army build at the $5-ish pricepoint.
Also stopped by Target and picked up one of the Vader gift cards. They had them "in stock" again, and they are pretty neat, so I just got one and put $5 on it. I'll just use it on Star Wars stuff later on. Also nice to note, our Target has lowered their figure prices to $5.24...same as Wal-Mart here....so they will definitely get as much Star Wars business as I can give them, and try to steer clear of Wally World when possible. Also, as a side note, I was checking at Target for the "Anakin to Vader" deluxe, since I was considering getting it (but glad I didn't now), but they were totally sold out. Plenty of the Obi-Wan, Palpatine, and Grievous deluxe, but not a single Anakin/Vader one. I guess I was somewhat surprised by that.
