Bar's open! What'll you have...?

Limited time offering and worse yet, they had a "vat accident" so the amount produced is about half of normal.  Had to drive to the other side of town to get it as it only ended up being shipped to the "french" part of town, St. Boniface, for Festival du Voyageur, the largest french winter celebration in Canada outside of the Quebec Winter Carnival. 

Had to spring for four cases just to make them last a while.  It's usually sold through by end of March at the latest and we won't see it again until the following February.

Rest assured, you have many years of imbibing ahead of you.  It only gets better.  Not much of a better feeling than walking into ye olde booze shoppe and figuring out what you want without contemplating cost at all.

Just got back from the bar after downing a pitcher and a half of beer (Busch Light and Bud), a raspberry kamikaze (still not really sure what was in it), and three rum and cokes. Woohoo!

Went out to a bar last night, they had Sam Adams cherry wheat on tap, went with that the whole night. It smells great.

Had both of these tonight, trying to get plastered enough so I don't go to work tomorrow.

Just flipping through the back pages for some reason and spotted this.  Gotta find that somewhere...I love a good porter, and they're few and far between.

It seems I've developed a bit of a nasty heart condition where my pulse takes off to 160 and won't slow down, so I've been told no more alcohol because it is a known trigger.  So no more Rye.  Or Vodka.  Or Rum.  Or Beer.  Ever.

So the bar may be open, but I guess I'm having nothing.
