^ I think you need a higher-res file Brent ... I can't quite read the label. ;)

Currently drinking another $5 Chardonnay and watching Anchorman with the guys to get the Clone Wars movie out of my head.

I've had quite a few new (to me) beers lately.

I discovered last weekend that New Belgium has a summer seasonal called Skinny Dip. It was still August, so I bought it a sixer. I really, really like it, but I haven't had a beer from that company I didn't like. I also found an Octoberfest out already, from Point, so I bought it. It's OK, I'm just not ready for marzen-style stuff yet.

Then, my folks went to Wisconsin over the weekend, and on the way, visited the brewery in New Glarus. I'd never heard of this company before, probably because they don't distribute in Iowa, only distributing in Wisconsin. Anyway, they brought me several beers to try. I had a bottle of something called Spotted Cow. It was just okay, in my mind. I look forward to trying more, and making a trip to Wisconsin before long to try more of what they make.

^ Me and my buddy just got back from Milwaukee where I saw New Glarus in a whole bunch of stores. I'd never heard of it either. Unfortunately we didn't get around to trying it.

Next year I guess....

Found the Samuel Adams Octoberfest, so I bought a case and started in on it tonight.  ;D

Same here--I only sprang for the sixer though.

Gotta break in my new minifridge.

We bought one of those Heineken min-kegs last weekend when we had some friends over.

Not a bad deal for the money, but it foams like a bitch which you pull a glass.  Makes it not worthwhile at all.

Don't shake the keg before you tap it.  :-X

Sweet Fancy Moses.

I had a Fat Tire with dinner tonight.  This is an entirely different kind of beer altogether.
