forgot the name of that book Lando, but the whole thing with all the backstories was craptastic.  I agree on the IG-88 he's just trying to survive.  I'd love to see the cartoon do a brand new shiny version of IG-88, as an upgrade to the Lancer droid.

wierd thing is I never saw either one of the SW UBP's not even the side of the box, or shelf tag for that matter, it has almost been like they never existed  :o

I never noticed this until just now, but it looks like Ben's right hand is sculpted in a "you don't need to see his identification" pose!  Or maybe in a beard-stroking pose like when he talks about the clone wars...

I think you're right there Daigo.  Make a good pose with the saber as well.

Didn't Q&A say something a couple weeks ago about an Uber SA EP II clone?  Not sure when they said it'd be released, but it mentioned a Uber SA Stormie as well.

My local Target went clearance price on the 3.75" line this week; $3.80.  They also have the 12" on clearance for $10.98.

They even found a 12" talking Indy somewhere, we haven't had one of those in months.  The rest were all Mutt figures, though.

The 3" line were mostly Mutt w/ Snake and Indy w/ Rocket Launcher but there were a couple German Soldiers, Monkey Man, Sallah and Belloq.  I picked up the lone Young Indy on the shelf along with a German (can never have too many army builders).

No clearance on the vehicles, deluxe or Temple playset.  But if they're jumping the gun 2 weeks before Christmas then you can bet they want to be rid of this line.

   E...

wow, do we shop at the same Target?  Same thing here, price was right to finally get a Mutt w/Jackett-custom fodder.

Palpatine is a bit disturbing in his damn near nudity though.

He's just one sexy B@%$&*.  If you'd been living in the body of a deformed 90 year old man and jumped into the body of a 20/30 ish year old you'd be showin' off too.  :P

I'll be displaying Vader, DE Luke, and Cade all together.  Just something looks cool with all the armor and the similarity in the shin guards.

I personally despise the removable helmet they made for Gree.  A removable head makes more sense to me.

Good point on the Airborne Trooper purge... and the Para Viper too.  I picked that up and it's fantastic.

Ya Chewie but compared to gummy Commanders/ARC/Phase I helmets Gree is top notch.  At least Gree's not walking around with puffy cheeks.

Certainly haven't seen these in the numbers of last year UBP's. In fact, out of four stores, I've only seen one of this one.  :P

So are you buying Anton?  I haven't seen it yet, but I'm sure if you like it enough to buy I probably will too.

Hasbro can do it.  Don't know how many here are Joe collectors, I'm not really one, but I couldn't pass up the Cobra Parajumper.  I was totally surprised the helmet was removable and it was a harder plastic instead of the gummy plastic used on the clones.  And as mentioned above Faie, Cody, and even Baron Fel have great helmets.  I'd even go as far as the Airborne Trooper.  Hopefully with the Ultimate Uber Articulated Clone we'll get a better helmet too.

Is it me or is this no longer just a story of Kirk and Spock at the academy? It's looking like they're fitting this in to during Kirk's days as captain of the Enterprise as part of the "re-telling".

I don't think he's capt yet, this is more like their first assignment or something.  I think the original capt, he was in like the VERY first episode and that was it is the capt.

For the first time in a while, I'm starting to have second thoughts about this set.  The price is just ridiculous (I really thought this should be $50.00 like the sets from last year), the pack-ins suck and it seems they really cheaped out on the plastic base.

Chewie I never had a first thought on this thing even for $62.  I'll grab it if they discount this thing, but really there is just no way I'm buying at full.  If these were the VOTC Fett, TAC Luke, Lando w/artic. legs, VTSC Han, and that one fat alien can't remember his name that drove the other Skiff I'd probably buy for full price then.
