Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Toy shopping in your dreams?

I've had a few of these, they usually involve finding cool stuff, then either leaving and going back to get them and they've disappeared or i grab them and when I get to the checkout they've mysteriously vanished from my cart. A lot of times it's really bizarre figures that don't even exsist too.

I think she turned out well, the only thing that looks off, as others have said is the forehead. As a huge fan of the KOTOR series I think it's great to finally be getting the odd figure here and there, and I'd love to see more, which seems unlikely unless they win fans choice polls it seems. T3 is definitley my most wanted though. HK needs his little buddy to kick around.

Anyone happen to order an extra that they don't want? I wasn't able to get the one I'd sent for due to some complications with moving. I'll pay the 10$ or whatever it was plus whatever it is to ship to Canada.

I'm glad to see it's continuing as I really have enjoyed the line, obscure characters I know nothing about and all. I'm also glad too see they're thinking about re opening the sub sign up. I passed originally because it didn't look like it was gonna happen and didn't want my 30$ tied up for nothing, but if it's a go, why not. I'm interested in 3 of the 4 announced figures so far, with the exception of Starman, and even he is pretty neat looking so I'll take him.

The last one was the AOTC/Saga one wasn't it? Been a very long time indeed. As for the Taun Taun, it looks great, glad I held out on buying the old one for so long.

I wouldn't say no to another Ebon Hawk crewmember from KOTOR winning. Seems like the only way we'll ever get them. I wants me some T3 to go with HK at least.

There really is way too much. I miss the old days of the basic monthly figs subscription. This all or nothing mentality is coming back to bite them it seems. That and the secondary market seems to have tanked on these, I see tons of etailers and ebay sellers with 10+ of several of these things, some at less than the original price and they still barely move. It was bound to happen eventually, that's the problem with creating false demand with low supply. They're talking about lowering production now, probably hoping to go back to the super fast sellouts so the resellers jump back on board.

I picked one up the other day, only one they had. 1 per case was ridiculous, until I started playin with it. It's a neat item, but I don't know any kid in their right mind that would be interested in one, so I kind kind of see the logic.

Looking at BBTS's listing it says that it included Crumb and the Mouse droid, they were show only exclusives weren't they? As crumby as it is to scalp in this way, i really can't hold it against them. At the end of the day, the only reason scalpers even exist is because of those idiots out there who are willing to pay them these ridiculous amounts in the first place. I also find that forums in general don't help either. Forums are great, don't get me wrong, but all those threads about "X item is so cool but man is it gonna be hard to get" are just giving any scalper lurkers an idea of what to snatch up. Our kind is our own worst enemy unfortunately.

I think that is exactly why they're doing it the way they are  In contrast to MOTU and Ghostbusters who seem to sell well overall to thier customer base, there's a lot more divide among DC fans. Some will take everything, some absolutely refuse anything modern (Atrocitous), some are only interested in the Bat guys, some are Golden and Silver age only etc. it makes it difficult to judge the numbers, as they have experienced with their 2 packs a while back not moving as well as they'd like. They also need to meet a certain number to keep the cost at the current 15$. That said, i'm thinking i'll subscribe at the last minute cuz why not. I've bought plenty of figures I didn't want to complete build a figs and a good number of them have grown on me after a while. The sculpts are always nice at the very least.

I have yet to buy any of the mega sized ships at full price, they always get marked down pretty decently after Christmas and I expect the same of this one. If I can nab one around 40-45, I'll bite. Otherwise, this one just doesn't interest me enough to care much.

i wouldn't mind at all if they did a few running changes on the Fleet Trooper, change up the headsculpt or something to mix it up a bit.

Finally got through, man, that made Mattys site seem like a breeze by comparison. Happy to have gotten my order through though, I chanced it and grabbed a Zarana as well. Pretty sweet!

From everything I've read, it sounds as if the line is dead if they don't get enough memberships, which sucks, since I don't think a lot of people are clear on that. I've seen a lot of posts on various boards saying they'll just cherry pick and nevermind the sub.

Both She Hulk and Scarlet Witch look fantastic, new bodies for each of em. They realy seem to be stepping up their game sculpt wise, the newer bodies look really nice. They've got a new Daredevil/Bullseye comic pack coming too that puts the old versions to shame.
