30th Anniversary Collection / Re: 30AC Star Wars Comic Packs
« on: August 13, 2007, 06:15 PM »
Anyone else find their W3 packs have seriously bent comics in them?  I have all three with great packaging, but the comics are bent in the middle as though the plastic package wasn't big enough to fit them.   >:(

I'm annoyed by negative people who do nothing but whine and complain.   ;)

I am thinking of getting out of the ML line.  Just losing interest.  Any suggestions for how to best get rid of them.  I have almost every figure from Series 1 through 15, minus a few variants here and there.

I just don't want to dump them piecemeal unless I have too.  Thoughts?

I've seen some pretty successful auctions on Ebay.  I'd sell them by wave - Series 1, Series 2, etc. to keep from having to list out 100 auctions.  Even if you don't have all the figures from that wave it helps frame up what's included and is a possible search tactic. Or you could group them by team (all of the Xmen together, Avengers, etc.)  Other option would be to list them out on a site like with prices per figure.  You might get more for some of the rares, but probably won't be able to get rid of most of them, whereas selling in a group helps ensure that they all go.

If you have any of the following - I'd pick them up for a reasonable price:

S8 Black Widow (either version)
S1 Stealth Iron Man
S1 Gold Iron Man
S7 Phasing Vision

If anyone sees that Cassie Cain Batgirl and can afford to help me out, I know it won't make it north of the border.  I'm actually still looking for the regular Batgirl as well, even the one from the two pack release.   :-\

I'll grab one for you if I see it.  Have you posted on the MN board?  Jay and Jeff seem to be the best at finding goodies lately.

He's actually the first TF that I threw back in the box and said **** you

LMAO!  That's a hilarious visual.  believe me, I've been there a few times over the past few years withsome of my alts and binaltechs.  The only way they could make the instructions worse is to do them in crayon, which I'm sure is on the horizon.

WIZARD has pics up of DCU Classics Series 2:

Red Tornado (plus classic variant)
Firestorm (plus classic variant)
Superman Blue (plus Red variant)
Harley Quinn
Black Manta
Aquaman (plus modern variant)
BAF Gorilla Grodd!

They look great to me, and I might just have to pick up the whole wave to get that Grodd.  Looking good.

Nice to see that DC is doing its best to come out with characters as boring as the Marvel Legends line.  *yawn*  Not going to get a single one of these.  Glad someone likes them.

Why would a guy watch "Sex & the City"? :P
simple math.  S&C + 1 shaker of cosmopolitans + my wife = sure thing.

Now that's funny.  I would have thought your wife would be a sure thing without making her watch light porn and getting her buzzed.   ;D

Cool to see that the plan is to introduce the Avengers in their own films (Iron Man, Cap, Thor), then do the live action Avengers film.  This takes away the need to introduce backgrounds for each of these guys and focus more on the story and action - I'm stoked!
