Watched Jesse's Pens dismantle the Sens tonight.  Yeesh.  Whatever Bylsma (or whoever) said to them in that first intermission must have worked because they looked like a different team in the 2nd/3rd.

I saw Alfredsson ask for the puck after his goal... might be his last, I guess. :-\

Loving the new Zod trailer that came out.  Yeah, the "hero, surrender yourself or your friends will pay" trope is kind of played out for superhero (and boy wizard) movies, but it still looks so good.  This movie is either going to be AWESOME or an emo-y train wreck.  I'm really, really hoping for AWESOME.

(but after seeing what we ultimately got for Green Lantern, train wreck is still a distinct possibility for DC movies, Nolan-Bat movies aside :P)

I suppose I should look harder to see if I DO get this channela nd just don't know it because before this announcement I had dignity, no kids, and never watched a Disney channel ever.

I have four kids, so one of the Disney channels (Disney, Disney Junior, Disney XD) is usually on at some point during the day, especially on the weekends.   ::)

As long as Disney doesn't feel the need to work in some of their "disney talent" tween boys/girls in voice roles and/or singing/musical numbers, I'm thinking it will do OK. :P

Got a haircut last night, just a #1 though.  Was seriously temped to go old school and Bic razor it down to nothing... might still do that just to freak out the kids.   :-\

I've been re-reading the Fire&Ice books and now that I'm almost finished with Dragons (again), I've decided to go back and re-read the Dune series.

Looking forward to it because I haven't read them in at least ten years (pre-kids).

Have to say with the $4.39/gal gas prices around here, I'm loving my Costco membership even more these days.

Last night's "I didn't really need it but can't resist the siren song of Costco" buy - giant 2.5 lb bag of M&Ms.  Mmmm...
